3 Big Problems with Aging

Pain of an aging body, pain of relationships, pain of negative beliefs–is this the vision of your golden years?

Aging is a process that sometimes manifests physically with having less energy, discomfort in joints, less mobility, and chronic illness.  Transformation is possible through energetic tools that shift patterns in your cellular structure from imbalance to balanced well-being. A senior doesn’t have to be a super athlete to feel improvement in function through the way they think and talk.

Relationships are often fragile with seniors as they experience many more losses–careers, family, friends, financial resources, and community supports, in addition to health issues.  Through energetic healing systems, such as Resonance Repatterning®, a coherent orientation and change in perspective can enhance the gift of years.

Negative beliefs are often unconscious and can sabotage the life you want to live.  Addressing this allows the power to identify, locate and transform the non-coherent influences in your body-mind system, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, through using the Nun Karma Repatterning and the Power for Aging Well Repatterning.

The repatternings have helped people to do something new, taking a risk for prosperity and service, actualizing their passion, and appreciating more of their wholeness.

Letting Go, Opening up

We launched the DIY Repatterning on Nun Karma a year ago, and I’m delighted to know that many hundreds of people have viewed or downloaded or incorporated it into their lives. So it seems like time to look at what this particular Repatterning perspective  has meant to me personally.

Yes, there have been some big changes in this past year. I find intensified spiritual pursuits, exploding creative expression, courage, friendships and an exciting new business opportunity. I’ve moved,  learned how to charge what my work is worth in the bigger marketplace and am excited to be attracting more and more of my ideal clients. I’ve even created another Repatterning book anyone can use (www.foodrepatterning.com ).

What I let go of were the residual vows of obedience, poverty and silence. I stopped hiding my own needs and feelings. Yes, there is the “good of the whole,” and I serve that better by being true to my self (talents, experience, education, intuition) than by obeying outdated rules and authority figures.

Last week I attended the Inaugural Quality Conference sponsored by the Women’s Health Council of RI. I had written their website and all the collateral materials. During the Conference, the over-riding theme – speaker after speaker – was of the need to create a new environment in which desperately needed change could happen in the healthcare industry.

I realized that when you do a Nun Karma Repatterning for yourself or your clients or your friends,  you are creating a new internal environment. One that is free of outdated rules and thinking – so your energy is liberated and you can focus on the new opportunities life holds for you.

Like becoming the leader who helps the seeker in industries like healthcare “drop the silos,” so more integrated modes of thinking and practice can emerge.

I’m wondering how you too may have benefited from this new internal environment?

Group Repatterning Sessions Inspired by Self-Help Books

Using a Self-help Book to Create a Repatterning

I have observed that many people read self-help books but are not able to implement their suggestions, despite their good intentions. Don Miguel Ruiz’s book The Four Agreements is a case in point. Here are the “four agreements” – four principles for coherent living:

1. Be impeccable with your word.

2. Don’t take anything personally.

3. Don’t make assumptions.

4. Always do your best.

Reading the book with pencil in hand, I jot down the ideas that the author puts forth as “I” statements – either problems (the negative aspect) or intentions (the positive aspect). I bring these to the group session in case people draw a blank when I ask them about any problems they have implementing these ideas. However, in a group of up to ten people, almost everyone has some experience where one of these agreements is problematical. Their sharing triggers others’ experiences, and soon everyone is contributing to the discussion. Needless to say, their input makes the session personal to them.

I have a basic structure in mind that I have drawn from the repatterning handbooks that involves checking for non-coherent brain waves, disharmonious notes, earlier experience factors, etc. I also check for non-coherent Chakra or Five Element factors. Then I ask the group what they want instead. We do a modality or two, and voila! The statements clear, and the patterns shift.

Doing sessions in this way also gives me opportunities to insert observations about coherence, resonance, and other aspects of the nine keys of Resonance Repatterning; thus it is a learning experience for the participants as well as a healing one.

Wired For Wealth – Book Review

Wired for Wealth is a book for anyone seriously healing their money issues.  The Nun Karma Release Repatterning can certainly shift a great deal of energy by looking at the frequency patterns involved in karmic vows of poverty and if you have downloaded and /or done the repatterning you may have already discovered a number of related patterns that impact your money.    You can take your healing process even deeper with additional insights provided by the authors of now several books on financial health including Wired for Wealth by  Brad Klontz and Ted Klonzt along with Rick Kahler.  The Klontz brothers are psychotherapists who have blended their work with financial planning. Rick Kahler is a financial planner who say our money problems are not due to a lack of knowledge or know-how but a kind of DNA wiring in how we think about money.

In their book, the authors provide the reader with details on the source of our money problems (in this lifetime) which is rarely about the money.  Instead our money problems are scripts that we learn when we are young.  Witnessing how our parents used money is deeply embedded in our psyche.  Did they keep money secrets from each other or enable family members, or buy love with money? Much of what we integrated from this earlier time  is tied to our sense of self, our relationships, power and control issues and our comfort zone for money.  It was the latter that really got my attention.

Unconsciously, we have a money set point for the amount of  money we feel comfortable having.  If we go higher or lower than the set point we do everything we can to get back to what we are used to having. Moreover – and here is the clincher, our set point may be wired to that of our family or group which means that the powerful need for belonging will stop us from going beyond the limits of the group to have a financial situation that is different.     If we have lived without a great deal of money for a long time and suddenly find ourselves with a windfall, chances are we’ll move very fast to get rid of it, but if we don’t members of the group will show up to guilt us into sharing the money or disperse it among the members. We are hard-wired to comply so that we can remain a respected member.  To break the cycle, to use the family constellation terms, is to break the systems limits.  In doing so we may feel the pangs of systemic guilt.   If we recognize the guilt for what it is we can learn to live with it until it fades away and we have integrated a new set point for financial health and well-being.

Money scripts can be inherited from many generations back and the authors provide some great exercises to get in touch with family patterns to help you raise your awareness of them.  You may find doing these exercises and then applying the Nun Karma repatterning to your discoveries a powerful way to excavate and clear very old patterns for financial well-being.  Alternatively, you may wish to have a resonance repatterning session to also clear the patterns you have discovered.

The book is called Wired for Wealth – Change the Money Mindsets That Keep You Trapped and Unleash Your Wealth Potential. by Brad Klontz, Psy.D., Ted Klontz, PhD., and Rick Kahler, CFP (affiliate link at Amazon.com) .  Visit their website www.YourMentalWealth.com where you will find their latest books and resources to help you shift your money mindset.

You could say my imagination is running out of control or that there may be something to this, but in any case, you are welcomed to join my colleague Gail Glanville and I (and hopefully others) for a Nun Karma Repatterning on All Souls Day.

We all love halloween, but traditionally it was a celebration of Hallow’ed Eve – or the night before the Church appointed day of reverence for souls passed on -All Souls Day.    Deepak Chopra talks about the tracks of intention laid down energetically when a place or event is revisited time and time again.  The vibration absorbs the intentions of the travellers and becomes that intention in a certain way.   So with that bit of theory and given how big this event has been in many Christian traditions, I thought it may be a good day to tap into the vibration of nun karma possibly related to this event.

If you are not already on the new email list for the Nun Karma Newsletter please join it to obtain the call-in instructions and reminders of this event.  Click Here to Sign Up

Looking forward to meeting you on this call and hearing about your Nun Karma Release Experiences.

With love and light,

Carolyn Winter
