Finding gold in your spiritual intelligence

You remember how Dr. Cristiane Northrup teaches that our financial health is just as important as our physical and mental health?

In fact, she writes, “The health and happiness of children and society has been linked time and again to the financial status of women.”

Does this ring true for you?

I suspect it’s one reason why the Nun Karma Repatterning continues to be such a popular download.

We don’t want to let the residue of old solemn vows (think poverty, chastity and obedience) hold us back from our true financial health.

There’s more.

We also cannot afford to toss out the gold in the spiritual intelligence we gained from lifetimes of spiritual pursuits.

Nor drain the fuel in our DNA from ancestors who served as nuns, monks, priests or priestesses, shamans or healers.

Danah Zohar says in her book on Spiritual Capital

“We need a sense of meaning and values and a sense of fundamental purpose (spiritual intelligence) in order to build the wealth that these can generate (spiritual capital).”

To value ourselves, we can start by valuing the best of our spiritual intelligence—our understanding of what it means to be a human being with an ultimate purpose in the world of today.

That’s why I’m offering a rare group tele-seminar based on the Nun Karma Repatterning.

—So that we as a group can banish that old saw I hear all the time from my clients, you know the one—“I can’t do it! I’m not good enough!”

—So we are less subject to institutional rules and more sure of our power to build our own spiritual capital.

—So we KNOW that we and our services are truly worth their weight in gold, because the full force and presence of sustainable spiritual intelligence is ours to share.

Wouldn’t it feel wonderful to enhance your sense of self-worth, in the company of like-minded peers?

Cloistered No More!

Last weekend there was a gathering of 50 or so Resonance Repatterning students, practitioners and teachers at the Empowerment Center in Goshen NY. We had been invited to meet with the founder, Chloe Wordsworth, for some sessions and as it turned out, a whole lot of healing!

What I want to tell you about is what happened with the Nun Karma Repatterning. I was invited to give it to the group on Saturday night. After a long day of back-to-back sessions demonstrated by Chloe, I thought maybe half a dozen people would show up that night. So I was surprised and grateful when about 40 people, including Chloe, filled the chairs.

You know what a delight it is to give that Repatterning, so I wasn’t surprised by how well received it was. We ended with the scarf exercise about stepping out of our safe little circles. Many people had AHA moments; Chloe commented that the Repatterning was much more effective when received in person than when she had simply read through it.

What touched me though was this: There were 3 nuns there, and I wanted to know what the Repatterning was like for them. Sr. Carol Keaney told me that actually, the women religious like her were way ahead of the rest of us, since they have long since left the convents and cloisters and stepped into a proactive life in the world. “But”, she said, “What we did first was to recreate the cloister in our hearts, where our spiritual life continues on and dwells in safety.”

Isn’t that a lovely image!

A Nun Who Avoided the 2 Mistakes

The Sisters of Mercy

Nun’s book on sex poses ‘grave harm’ to Catholics, says Vatican– When I read this Toronto Star Article on the Catholic Church verdict about a nun’s book – “Just Love: A Framework for Christian Sexual Ethics” by Sister Margaret Farley I was reminded of Gail’s post below on the 2 Mistakes You Don’t Want To Make.   The nun in this story sounds like a great example of someone who has avoided these mistakes – even if you don’t necessarily agree with her work.  The book contains her ideas on sexuality that the church now disagrees with and feels is harmful to the flock.  From my perspective, Sister Margaret Farley and  perhaps her group are acting on their vows to a higher authority, and articulating a global perspective based on vows for a new age of self-realized service to others. Their stand is not an easy one to take in the face of church authority and a vow of obedience especially when all religions are amidst a challenge of updating their world perspectives.  No doubt she is slightly ahead of the curve resonating with global evolutionary qualities every religion needs to incorporate to survive.

On the positive side of nun karma if we make the most of it, we are re-invented for what is known to now be the dawn of another renaissance – the digital information age.   If the story of Sister Margaret Farley’s situation with the church triggers your nun karma issues, take a look at the positive qualities possible in the Nun Karma Repatterning under Global Evolution and Self Realized Service (Pg. 23).  Sister Farley may have already arrived.

With love and light

2 Mistakes You Don’t Want to Make

by Gail Glanville, Change Bistro

If you have been using the Nun Karma Repatterning      book, I thought you should know about 2 mistakes it’s all too easy to make.

They’re ones you probably don’t want to make, and will feel better for correcting. Rather than mistakes, it is more accurate to call them “faulty assumptions that need to be challenged.” Here they are.

Faulty Assumption 1. Everything about the monastic experience, including the self-abnegating vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, and reclusive lifestyle practices, needs to be tossed out if we are to achieve success in the 21st century.

Well, the Dalai Lama says that what is most needed now are people who can hold a “global spiritual perspective.” That means that your lifetimes dedicated to inner cultivation and spiritual strength have value today. You probably want to retain these gifts. Even more, become bolder about weaving a spiritual perspective into your work and claiming its value. Timidity is no longer needed but your spirit is. Polish your spirit and let it shine!

Faulty Assumption 2. Victimization automatically accompanies this karmic pattern and there is nothing you can do about it. For example, have you uncovered the limiting belief that you are doomed to poverty because of this pattern? Or that you are unworthy of success?

When you work through this Repatterning on yourself or with others, notice if you are taking the Victim stance (or have slipped into the partner dysfunctions of acting as the Abuser or being the Rescuer).

Challenge this assumption! Shift your focus and let go of your agreement with (or resonance with) the Victim. Any resonance with the Abuser or Rescuer will drop away too—because it is only resonance with the Victim that holds this pattern in place. Then, move into the larger spiritual perspective that is your heritage. This is where you claim your creativity and ability to create an abundant new life for yourself and those you care about.

The modality called “Stepping Out” on page 33 is an ideal antidote for challenging both of these Faulty Assumptions. I think you’ll enjoy it.
