Release Lifetimes of Limiting Solemn Vows
Made as nuns, monks and renunciates
And clear your energy field of past life patterns blocking your full expression and potential in this lifetime.
Welcome Back to Nun Karma Repatterning
There is a moment in many spiritual journeys when you realize you are living this life with vows you do not remember taking.
You might feel a deep pull to serve, yet struggle to receive. You might long to be visible and share your gifts, yet find yourself hiding at the very moment you’re called to step forward. You might work hard, do “all the right things,” and still feel as though some invisible promise is holding you back from love, money, joy, or expression.
In 2010, a small circle of us gathered around this mystery.
We began to notice a shared thread: a sense of having lived lives in cloistered, devotional settings—convents, monasteries, religious communities—where vows of poverty, silence, obedience, and invisibility once made sense and even felt holy. In this lifetime, though, those same vows were quietly creating conflict with our desire to live fully, prosper, and speak truth with an open heart.
Out of that discovery, Nun Karma Repatterning was born.
It began as an experiment: a self-inquiry process to explore and gently release the lingering impact of those old vows so that our current lives could unfold with more freedom and grace. Over time, it evolved into a structured way of working—a map of patterns, a language for the unspoken, and a compassionate container for healing.
For a while, this blog went quiet while the work continued elsewhere.
Life called me into other projects and teachings, and Nun Karma Repatterning lived on through sessions, conversations, and my own inner practice more than through posts here. Meanwhile, more and more people began wrestling with familiar questions:
How do I honor my spiritual roots without sacrificing my voice or prosperity?
How do I live in integrity when old vows tell me it’s safer to stay small?
How do I reconcile a deep call to serve with a genuine need for support and sustainability?
Again and again, “nun karma” themes surfaced in clients and communities. The pattern was clearly asking to be spoken about in a new way, for a new time.
So, this space is awake again.
Nun Karma Repatterning is, at heart, an invitation to:
Recognize where old vows and lifetimes may still be shaping your choices
Bring compassion and consciousness to those patterns, rather than judgment
Release what no longer serves, so your love, wisdom, and service can move more freely into the world
Here, you’ll find stories, reflections, and practices drawn from that original group journey and the many sessions that have unfolded since. Some posts explore the core vows and patterns; others offer gentle self-inquiry, everyday experiments, and ways to integrate this work with the spiritual path you’re already on.
